Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ProperSite — a trading name of Vitadefence Ltd — handles your personal data. We keep it short and in plain English. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

• Enquiries you send us. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, your business name (if you give it), any website or page you share, and your message.
• Basic visitor analytics. When you browse the site, our own first-party beacon records the page visited, an approximate location (city/country looked up from your IP address), your device and browser type, the referring site, and a random session identifier. We do not store your full IP address, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to take steps to enter into and perform our agreement with you.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it — our legitimate interest in running a good service.

Cookies

We use a minimal, privacy-friendly setup. The site does not set advertising cookies and our analytics beacon runs server-side without placing tracking cookies on your device.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of providers purely to run the service: our own managed hosting, a geolocation lookup to turn an IP address into an approximate city/country, and Telegram (to notify us of new enquiries and visits). Each only processes what it needs to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as we are in contact with you and a reasonable period afterwards. Visitor analytics are kept in aggregate to spot trends.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to provide it in a portable form. Email info@vitadefence.com and we’ll sort it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
